Where home wins

No commute, total control of your environment, and easier caring responsibilities. For heads-down work with few meetings, home is hard to beat.

Where coworking wins

Separation between work and rest, professional space for calls and clients, and incidental conversations that lead to work, advice and friends.

It also gives structure. A place to go creates a beginning and an end to the day, which is the part remote work most often loses.

A practical split

Many members use two or three days in the space for collaboration, calls and momentum, and keep the rest at home for deep work.

Trying it is cheaper than deciding in the abstract. A day pass tells you more than a spreadsheet.
